A sincere love for coffee was the spark that brought Sapta Wiji Roastery to life. To us, coffee is more than just a drink; it is a medium for sharing stories, moments, and warmth. The journey began in 2022 as a coffee shop in Batang, Central Java. Sapta Wiji was founded by Anto "Irenk" as a mission to educate the public about the vast world of coffee. Anto himself has been an integral part of the industry since 2001, serving as a barista for 14 years before shifting his focus to roasting in 2014, a craft he continues to master today.
In 2025, the opportunity arose to establish Sapta Wiji as a formal Coffee Roaster estabishment entity in Jakarta. Alongside partnership with fellow enthusiasts, Anto transformed this vision into a professional roasting operation built on honesty, consistency, and perfection.

With decades of experience in the coffee world, Anto—fondly known as Anto "Irenk"—has honed his expertise in Sensory Mastery, Profile Engineering, Technical Operations, Sourcing and Selection.
He is also recognized as a trusted mentor to many aspiring baristas and roasters, coffee roasting competition judge, Anto always shares his deep insights into roast profiling and sensory evaluation.
As a Co-Founder, Director, and Head Roaster at Sapta Wiji Roastery, Anto directly oversees Roastery's Operations, Quality Assurance, Green Bean Selections, and Production of every batch produced at our facility in Jakarta. He leads our Custom Roast Profiling services, collaborating closely with wholesale partners to develop signature blends that define and strengthen their brand identity. His 20+ years of experience ensure that Sapta Wiji delivers more than just coffee, we deliver a legacy of proven consistency.
